Private Lessons

Golden State coaches are available during the year for private and small group lessons. Each training session is customized to suit the player’s age, position and skill level. To arrange lessons please email us at info@gs-lacrosse.com. Coaches will focus on core lacrosse fundamentals, position specific skills, and conditioning during each lesson. Below are typical coaching points for beginner and advanced players:

Fun and innovative lessons for beginning players will focus on:

  • Passing and catching
  • Ground ball work
  • Footwork
  • Shooting
  • Dodging
  • Stick protection

Lessons with advanced youth to high school level players will focus on:

  • Dynamic passing and catching
  • Screen, crease and pressure shooting
  • Shooting on the run
  • Cone and ladder footwork
  • Conditioning and speed work
  • Advanced position techniques

Players that attend our lessons will learn the importance of work ethic, making time to practice and proper fundamentals. And will leave each lesson with more confidence, and an action plan on how to improve on their own.

Rates:
  • 1 player = $100
  • 2-3 players = $75 per player.
  • 4 or more = $50 per player.
